Last Wednesday the 21st the Ty's went to the ploughing in Tullamore. The transition years left the school at 7 in the morning and they made sure they were well prepared for mucky conditions with wellies and raincoats. We arrived in good time at around nine o clock.
A popular attraction at the ploughing was the funfair which had many exciting rides for people to try out. We were also attracted to the O'Neils and Gaa ships which had very long queues outside them. It was also very exciting to see Ryan Tubridy presenting his radio show from the ploughing. Thankfully it stayed dry throughout the day which we were very thankful for.
Overall the Ty's had a great day at the ploughing and I would recommend it to all year groups next year.
