The TY's went on a trip to the ploughing championships in Tullamore Co. Offaly on the 21st of September 2016.
The bus left from the back of the school at 7am sharp. We reached Tullamore around 10:30 am. when we first arrived we all got into groups and went to the gate to get our wrist bands.
when we all went into the field all the groups split up and went into different places. The first place I went into was RTE. One person from my group went for an interview with Ryan Tubridy . It was very funny. We then went into a milking parlour. There was loads to do at it. We didn't even get to go everywhere. There was also a carnival in the field. My friend's and i went on most things. It rained a little bit but we didn't mind because we all had coats and wellies.
I gained a lot from this experience. I gained the knowledge about milking cow and about tractors. I also learned how to read a map and not get lost on trip.
Overall it was the best trip I have been on.
