On the 21st September 2016 our class went on a trip to the ploughing championships in Tullamore. The class that went was the transition year class of 2016. We went on this trip so that everybody had a chance to hang out with new people and make new friends. It gave us all a chance to mix together. We left the school early at 7am. We did many things on this trip such as going on the rides at the carnival, we also got to see the different parts of farming and so much more. We then got some food. There was many places to get food such as Subway they were all set up as stalls. The championships took place in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. We returned at around half five that evening. The people on this trip include the girls from the two transition year classes and two of our home economics teachers. I felt this was an excellent trip and I feel I gained lots of knowledge. The people at this trip were very friendly and helpful. There was lots to see and plenty to do. Overall I really enjoyed this trip and feel it would be a great place for the family to go together. I would definitely love to do it again.
