Our TY French class had a French breakfast morning, organised by our teacher Ms Casserly. We chose Tuesday’s double class which would give us plenty of time to cook. This class was to give us an insight into how the French eat breakfast. Our plan was to make crepes and have croissants aswell. A few girls from the class volunteered to go and buy the simple ingredients needed; flour, eggs, milk, butter with Nutella and strawberries for toppings! Ms Casserly had a small cooker for us to use. We all gathered around a table and everyone helped out. Some made the mixture, cooked the crepes and some brought plates, knives and forks for us. The crepes were delicious! Everyone got one and there was even some left for seconds! We all sat down, relaxed, ate and made our best effort to speak a bit of French too. We took some pictures on the school camera which captured a few funny moments! This was a very enjoyable class and we all had great fun working together. by Ailbhe Leahy | |
